Atmaram Maneklal Industries Ltd. has achieved this skill from its efforts for more than 120 years. Today, it is one of the largest Raw Cotton Merchants in India.

AMIL provides all raw materials from power to king cotton to polyester yarns, from polyester fibre to blended yarn and dyes and chemicals to fabrics, thus completing the entire textile cycle from raw material to finished products. GINNING AND PRESSING :

To further substantiate AMIL’s search for constant progress it has now set up a state of art Ginning and Pressing unit at Manavadar, Gujarat at a cost of approximately Rs 50 million and subsequently plans to do so in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Finest machines have been installed to churn out the best available cotton in India. Shankar 4 and 6 along with DCH32 types of Cotton constitute the diet of these jumbo gins.

36 Hi-Speed Double Roller Auto-feeders cater to 225 Bales a day while the pressing unit has the capacity to press up to 450 Bales per day, paving way for immediate expansion. The Godown has the capacity to stock 2000 Bales of Raw cotton and 10000 pressed bales.

AGRICULTURE :

In its advent for backward integration, AMIL has collaborated with The Mafatlal Group to promote cultivation of cotton and other crops under a unified name of Agro Needs Pvt. Ltd. It is a joint effort to develop the wasteland in Gujarat. It is assured of generating more than 5MT/hectares per annum against the current yield of 2-3MT/hectare. This combined with its Ginning facilities will mean greater control on quality of seed cotton and ultimately lint.
